The Year of the Fire Horse is a time for action, change, and significant growth. The Lunar New Year is also a time for reconnecting with family and strengthening bonds of friendship. But when celebrated the Buddhist way, welcoming the New Year becomes even more meaningful.
In Buddhism, karma refers to how every action has a consequence. To put it simply, we reap what we sow. So if we want to have a good year ahead, we must create the causes for good luck and fortune now.
Ride into the Fire Horse Year with Chinese New Year Eve prayers at Kechara House and Kechara Forest Retreat. You can also offer candles and incense to generate merits for Prosperity, Longevity, Fortune and all things beneficial.

Pujas and all other offerings will be fulfilled by Mar 3, 2026 (Tue), the 15th day of Chinese New Year.
