Dzambala House had their house warming on 20 May 2011, when the occupants invited all of their colleagues from the Kechara Paradise outlets. Henry Jr., Jazz, Eric and Jack, the residents of Dzambala House spent hours cleaning their home, before serving a vegetarian dinner to everyone.
During dinner, Liaison Chuah Su Ming showed up unexpectedly with bags and bags of food from His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche. Everyone rushed upstairs to unpack and arrange the gifts properly, before Dzambala House’s residents offered a khata as a token of appreciation to Rinpoche.
Dinner continued with fun and laughter as the attendees soon broke up into smaller groups to catch up. Some wanted to watch American Idol while others wanted to just unwind. When it was almost midnight, a cake was brought out to celebrate the birthdays of those who were born in May. They were May Woo, Albert and Jack who gathered around the cake while all of us sang them a birthday song.
While we had our cakes, May Woo made two announcements on behalf of the Kechara Paradise managers. First of all, they wanted to thank their colleagues for the hard work they put in to making a success of the roadshows in Kechara Paradise Viva Home and Kechara Paradise Sunway Pyramid, including all of the moving, unpacking, stacking, cleaning and staying up late. The second announcement was that Pamela Yap had been appointed as Assistant Manager of Kechara Paradise Viva Home.
Congratulations Pamela, a happy birthday to all of our May babies, and a big THANK YOU to everyone at Kechara Paradise. May we continue to work in benefiting all who are suffering!
