Overcome illnesses and disperse harm caused by spirits, black magic and curses with a powerful combination of two obstacle-clearing pujas. Chasum pacifies problems which occur in our life and spiritual practice, while Lu Dzong absorbs and draws problems away from us through the offering of a lu figurine.
Known as the Ritual of the Three Parts, the Chasum puja is very powerful to eliminate obstacles which occur in our life and spiritual practice, especially those caused by particular classes of spirits. The ritual follows Buddha’s teachings to do no harm, even to beings who harm us. Therefore, instead of employing wrathful means to harm interfering spirits, we offer them tormas, praises, and pleasing offerings such as water, flowers, incense, lights, perfume, food, and music.
The protective Lu Dzong puja absorbs and draws problems away from the intended recipient. As part of the ritual, a lu or figurine is created to represent sponsors, attendees and sentient beings in general. This figurine is offered to harmful entities, which appeases these obstacle-creating spirits and smoothens our life path.
