The Promise in the Press!

Malaysia’s local English daily The Star published a book review about our publication The Promise, a biography of Kechara’s Spiritual Advisor H.E.Tsem Rinpoche.

The writer Lok Ching Wei wrote:

I came away from this book with the feeling that I was close to knowing Tsem Tulku Rinpoche although I have yet to meet him….Tsem Tulku Rinpoche seems to me to be a great leader who spreads joy and happiness wherever he walks.

Lok was amazed with Tsem Rinpoche’s destiny, as he wrote:

I am amazed at how destiny has been leading, moulding and transforming him to be a much greater compassionate being who benefits others before himself. He not only emerged unscathed from his trials and tribulations, but was also energised and considerate enough to share with others in need.

Vegetables can be fun

Kechara Media & Publications (KMP) launched a new book recently. What kind of book this time, we hear you ask? Well, as KMP always has surprises up their sleeves, it will not come as such a shock to note that they have launched a vegetarian cookbook this time round!

After all, His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche, the spiritual guide of Kechara always encourages his students and the public in general to go vegetarian, for its health benefits at the very least.

KMP’s new cookbook Eat Healthy, Daily features 21 unique but simple recipes that are good for our health and, very importantly, taste good too! Check out the article written by VisionKL below for more information of the book launch.

Our place in the Sun

Kechara Media and Publications’ (KMP) advertisement is featured in this month’s issue of Shambala Sun. This magazine is published bi-monthly and features non-sectarian views on spirituality in general, and Buddhist culture and meditation. It is also one of the most popular magazines on spirituality and Buddhism in the West, with a readership of several hundred thousand.

KMP’s advertisement is placed strategically next to the Letter to the Editors section on page 13, which gives it a wide coverage, as many readers flip to this section to read up on personal views and opinions of other readers. KMP’s advertisement features three of our best-selling books along with a prominent web address at the bottom.

This advertisement is just the beginning of a series for Shambala Sun magazine and we will also be looking into online advertising options as well…so watch out for a KMP book near you!
