Singapore

Back in 2007, a group of Singaporeans came up to Kuala Lumpur to attend one of the Kechara House Book Club sessions. After an audience with H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, the good friends were inspired to form a study group when they returned to Singapore.

In Malaysia, where our upcoming retreat centre Kechara World Peace Centre will take root soon

Thus the Singapore study group was born, with its main objective being to provide an opportunity for Rinpoche’s students to share and practise together what they had learnt in the main temple, Kechara House. The group currently comprises of Roselyn, Ash, Elsie and Shawn Tay. Without suitable premises to conduct their own activities, they regularly travel to join the Johor study group for classes and pujas.

Very much a part of the KH family, we are happy to see that through continued dedication to Dharma and Rinpoche, the merits of their practice might one day create the cause for them to expand, from being a study group to a full-fledged centre.
