An opportunity to clear obstacles

Media coverage has begun! Sin Chew has taken the lead this year, publishing the first article on Kechara House organising our annual Grand Setrap and Dzambala Puja (GSDP). Held on 12 and 13 February, this will be the first time ever that GSDP is being held in our new Gompa!

GSDP this year happily falls within the Chinese New Year period. It is the perfect time for us to remove obstacles for the coming new year, and also to bring good luck and wealth. In fact, it is also the perfect time for you to show your love to loved ones not just through ang paus (red packets) but by sponsoring a puja for them.

After all, as Paul Yap (Chairman of the Organising Committee) explains in the article below, to do prayers for our family members through pujas is very meaningful. Prayers that we sponsor for our relatives carry a great deal of significance because of our close karmic connection with them.
