Our avant-garde spiritual leader, H.E. Tsem Rinpoche was interviewed by the international magazine Esquire and the feature was published in the May 2012 issue.
During the interview, Rinpoche talked about his favourite celebrity Madonna, Steven Seagal, religion, romantic movies, his blog and other things that we don’t expect your typical Tibetan Lama to be interested in. On his “job” as a Spiritual Guide, he is the founder of the Kechara, a Buddhist organization.
Although he does not enjoy being a Spiritual Guide, he has no regrets:
“I do not regret my path, I just follow the path of what I’ve chosen. I trusted my teachers all the way.”
On religion, Rinpoche, a Buddhist monk for more than 30 years said:
“I don’t think that there is one religion that suits everybody…”
You might not have the opportunity to listen to Rinpoche’s talk personally, but you could listen to the sound bites provided by Esquire. If you’d like to read Rinpoche’s precious quotes, quick get your copy of Esquire before it’s sold out!
