Guests at the Kechara Guest House are requested to abide by the following code of conduct:

  • Please keep noise levels to the minimum especially when other guests are in retreat.
  • Please keep the premises clean at all times.
  • Please do not eat in the rooms.
  • Rubbish will be cleared from the common pantry area. Please leave your rubbish outside to be cleared.
  • Please wash and store away all items in the pantry area after use.
  • Please switch off the lights, air-conditioning units and fans when leaving the premises.
  • Please ensure that all water taps are properly turned off after use.
  • Please inform the Administration Office of any amenities that are not working.
  • Books in the common area are for reading within the Guest House only. If you would like a copy of your own, the books can be purchased at our outlets.


General rules and regulations

  • Only Kechara House members, friends and Sangha members who are visiting our organisation and/or doing retreats are eligible to stay.
  • All donations as indicated are to be paid in full in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) on the date of arrival to our Administrator, along with an indication of the duration of the stay.
  • Should any guests wish to change their bed or bathroom linen, they are to request and exchange for clean linen from our Administration Office during office hours.
  • Any loss to or damage to our property such as furniture, linen, iron, offering bowls and so on shall be charged accordingly.
  • Kechara Guest House will not be responsible of any loss or damage to the guests’ personal belongings.
  • All occupants must register and sign on the Registration Form/Log Book.
