Listening is a lamp that dispels the darkness of ignorance; the best wealth that cannot be stolen by thieves; the best treasure; and best means of pleasing others.
Aryasura
How to be wise? How to be a wise man? It’s simple; you just need to know how to listen, because listening is basis for contemplating and meditating. It’s not that simple at the same time, because you have to have an open mind to listen.
An open mind is a mind that does not reject anything, even when we do not endorse it, knowing that others’ experiences may be different from ours. By listening, you will know all Dharmas, whether understanding their meaning, their purpose or how to practise them.
Ultimately, you will realise wisdom and attain liberation. Listening to the Dharma is the first step to attainment…
