A new building, a new take!

The good news just keeps on coming with Kechara Soup Kitchen! Not only have we just begun operations in our new permanent building, and completed the filming of our appearance in Invite Mr Wright, but we’ve also got a brand new department video to release!

Well, it’s a new building, it’s new operations so it’s time for a new look right?

The look, produced by Novista, might be new but the message is still the same. Whether young or old, male or female, rich or poor, everyone needs to eat and KSK are going to work to make sure fewer people go to sleep hungry each night!

Join us in the fight against homelessness today! For further information, contact our Project Director Chua Siong Woan (siongwoan.chua@kechara.com; +6010 3333 260). With the expansion of our services, KSK’s financial resources are being stretched tight…we need all the help we can get, whether it’s with job offers, our wish list, or with donations of money, food or your time! Employment opportunities are also welcome, as most of our clients are willing and able to work…they just need YOU to give them a chance.

  1. When people are down and out, and living on the streets. they need more than food. the homeless need a chance to get back on their feet and be independent and have their own self esteem. The sick needs medical care, medications and sometimes hospitalised. Peope like Jit who has been living out on the streets for 3 years and who has relatives needs to be reunited with her family. KSK has done just thatand helped to get another homeless off the street to be reunited with her family. So KSK does not just feed the homeless but also provide abovementioned serviices with the main aim to get them off the streets and help them to get back into the mainstream of society. Syabas to KSK for a great job well done. Of coursee with the help of the Star Media.
