Global Visits – Read Malaysia Day 5

The Kechara Media & Publications (KMP) booth at Read Malaysia 2010 had a surprise visit from Jeffrey, a friend of Kechara who is an American. He shared that he has visited Kechara House before and even joined in the Setrap puja. He had plenty to say in praise of our books – he loves them!

Also, another visitor, Mr Lai, shared that while flipping through our classic, beautiful coffee table book, If Not Now, When? in Sukihoto bookstore (another Dharma bookstore), he fell in love with His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche’s teachings instantly. He especially loved Rinpoche’s advice that the greatest mantra we can take to heart right now is, “How are you mommy, how are you daddy?” – a precious lesson on how we must respect and care for our parents.

Since then, he has bought every single book of Rinpoche’s teachings. This time, after visiting us, he bought our newest title, Snakes, Roosters & Pigs immediately!

Looks like our books are touching hearts all over the place, whether they’re local Malaysians or from as far away as America.

Also, just to jazz things up a bit, some KMP members decided to put their creative caps on and readjusted the booth display to make it more attractive. Now, books are more visible to passerbys and bright, bold, red signs announce the very special promotions we have on offer just for the duration of the book fair only! If you haven’t already come to check them out, well, where have you been? Hop on down to the Mines. Only five days left of great offers and all the best that KMP has to offer!
