Vajrayogini Ruchok 2017

12 May 2017 - 1:51pm Comments Off

Kechara is pleased to announce that a rare Ruchok ritual based on the Vajrayogini Tantra will be held at Kechara Forest Retreat in Bentong, Pahang on 17 May 2017. The last time this powerful, sacred ritual was performed was over three years ago! We encourage you not to miss this rare opportunity to submit items for consecration.

Ruchok is a very powerful way to purify large amounts of negative karma as well as generate continuous merits to support our spiritual journey and worldly endeavours. Performed according to the tantric texts, this ritual not only blesses the individuals but also creates a connection to receive Vajrayogini’s sacred practice and achieve her enlightened state in the future.

During this sacred ritual, hair, nails or ashes are blessed and generated as the Tantric Buddha Vajrayogini. Thereafter, the items are considered to be consecrated and can be placed into stupas, Buddha statues or made into tsa tsas. As long as the stupas, statues or tsa tsas are in existence, those who make offerings, prayers, prostrations and circumambulations in the future are likened to be making such offerings to thousands of Vajrayoginis. They also generate a continuous stream of merits and blessings for the individuals whose items are present.

Ruchok can be done for anyone, both the living and the deceased. It can also be done for pets and animals.
