Special Thanksgiving Prayer for Lamps For Life Sponsors

11 October 2016 - 2:28am Comments Off

Join us this Saturday, 15th October 2016 at Wisdom Hall, Kechara Forest Retreat for a special Lama Chopa Puja and Recitation of the King of Prayers. This prayer session is dedicated to the LAMPS FOR LIFE sponsors who have partaken in daily light offerings to Lama Tsongkhapa and the Buddhas at Wisdom Hall.

With the blessings of H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche, the Lamps for Life program was created to give ordinary people the opportunity to make extraordinary light offerings to the Second Buddha, the incomparable Lama Tsongkhapa, as part of the essential Preliminary Practices required prior to receiving higher teachings.

The first group of ‘Lamps for Life’ sponsors have successfully participated in making 333,333 light offerings to Lama Tsongkhapa, which is equivalent to making 333,333 light offerings to Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara and Vajrapani because Lord Tsongkhapa consists of these Three Great Bodhisattvas. And on Saturday 15th October 2016, they will make the 1,000,000th light offering to reach a highly auspicious 1 Million Light Offerings to the Three Great Bodhisattvas of our aeon.

Lama Chopa and the King Of Prayers will be performed to seal the blessings of this HIGHLY MERITORIOUS ACT of 1 Million Light Offerings, and for the merits to be dedicated to the sponsors and their loved ones.

Kechara is grateful for all your support and would like to take the occasion of this Announcement to be sure that all sponsorships are properly completed. If you have participated in the LAMPS FOR LIFE program but have yet to be notified of the fulfillment of your contribution, please enquire with Martin Chow via Whatsapp at +6017 247 4418 or email at martin.chow@kechara.com for immediate rectification.
