Eric Choong with the director of the play, Woon Fook Sen

Vocals for Kechara’s Tsongkhapa stage play, Legend of the Conch Shell, have been recorded! Our recording stars for the day descended upon a studio in Cheras to record the Migtsema chants that will be used during the part of the play that depicts Tsongkhapa’s retreat.

Taking a break from a day's chanting

Involved were Liaisons Paul Yap and Tan Sio Chian, Jesse, Jace Chong, Howie, Uncle Lai, Dr. Hank, Eric Choong, Patsy Lee and Kien Wong, with Liaison Kok Yek Yee, director Woon Fook Sen, and production assistants Yvonne and Louise on hand to oversee productions. All amateur singers, word on the street is that our star chanters did an amazing job so make sure you get your tickets for the play to see what the finished product sounds like!
