On 4 April 2015, Pastor Adeline and Wylfred Ng visited SMK Khai Mun Secondary School in Bentong, as representatives of Kechara to make an offering of RM500 sponsorship towards their Buddhist Camp. As soon as the event commenced, Kecharians were greeted by the welcoming faculty members, followed by a speech from Dato’ Hoh Khai Mun, state executive council of Pahang, regarding the importance of children’s education.

SMK Khai Mun Bentong has organised many similar events in the past, and this one in particular is in collaboration with SMK Katholik. Kechara sponsored the Camp’s meals, including breakfast, lunch and dinner, ensuring that the children’s wellbeing is looked after.

The two day one night event started at 5pm and its goal is to promote leadership and coordination skills. The school gave freedom to the students, with help from teachers, to organise this Buddhist Camp.
