For the last one week, the Longest Non-Stop Lamrim Recitation event has been receiving a good response from Kechara members and non-members alike! So far, more than 300 people have signed up for this auspicious event and as impressive as it may be, Kechara want to do better…so we have set ourselves a goal of 500 participants!

We need your passion, your help and your time to make it into the Malaysia Book of Records. Registration is still open for those who are interested in making history, so please come to Kechara House to register your name!

The Lamrim teaches universal qualities that are inherently good which are needed in society such as wisdom, effort, equality, respect, gratitude and forgiveness. It has its own blessings, (it is) the truth of all truths.

Even more excitingly, the organisers of the Longest Non-Stop Lamrim Recitation will be giving away four categories of prizes to encourage participants to make the most of their July weekend! Four categories of the prizes are:

  • Category 1: Highest Average Hours per Team. You need to have minimum 5 persons per team and one person must recite at all times.
  • Category 2: Longest Recitation by an Individual
  • Category 3: First Individual to Recite All 24 Chapters During the Marathon. For this category, please register with Marshall to enter the competition.
  • Category 4: Highest Total Hours per Team. The marathon will be held from 8am on 2 July 2011 to 8am the following day.

If you feel that whatever solutions you have in this world do not really work for long, or if you wish for a more permanent state of happiness that you can enjoy, or if you are tired of short-term remedies for your problems…pick up the Lamrim if you want to find methods that lead to more lasting, effective solutions!

There are many benefits to reciting the Lamrim, including a clearer mind, an increase in awareness, an increase in memory power, gaining the ability to influence people through speech, and acquiring quick and great wisdom.

If you want to be in the Malaysian Book of Records, AND gain all of these great benefits, then register your name with Kechara House at +603 7803 3108 or [email protected].
