Planting the Seeds of Love in Skudai

Kechara Southern Jewel Chapel (KSJC) liberated 100 kilograms of fish in Sungai Skudai last 26 February. They bought the fishes from wet market, which were originally fated to be someone’s lunch or dinner, and set them free. First, Casteven Lim led the recitation of prayers, then participants blew mantras on the fishes and made good dedication prayers after the fishes were freed.

With the hope to love animals and to plant seeds of being vegetarian, KSJC is happy and will continue to liberate animals in future.

22 members of KSJC joined the meritorous activity, with 19 adults and three kids. The participants were Ong Jian Long, Low Geok Ngo, Ong Sze Jie, Low Siew Lian, Lau Mui Chye, Chen Hui Luan, Choo Cheng Hiang, Lau Mooi Chuah, Lau Yuan Thing, Lau Yik Ren, Lau Jun Heng, Ee Ah Ying, Low Chee Foo, Lim Yoke Wong, Angeline Yeap, Tang Hwee Chew, Tang Jun Er, Helen Ching, Ash Ng from Singapore, Eric Lee, Casteven Lim and June Tang.
