In celebration of His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche’s birthday, Manjushri Class is very proud to present an account of Rinpoche’s own childhood experiences while growing up in Taiwan and then America. We promise you a story that will blow your minds away with an account by a living example of a Tulku incarnation. ‘Tulku’ is a Tibetan word that refers to the incarnations of greatly attained masters. The defining characteristic of a Tulku is an incredible will to continue his previous lives’ spiritual work regardless of obstacles and problems, to absorb the suffering of others and channel it towards benefiting others from a very young age. H.E. Tsem Rinpoche is a prime example of such an incarnation.
