This is what dedication looks like…above is a hastily-snapped shot of Kechara House President and Liaison Datuk May Phng, out at 11pm to check on the renovation progress of the new Kechara gompa. Despite being a little under the weather herself, Datuk even thought about the welfare of the workers – she arranged with volunteers from the nearby Kechara Care to check on the workers regularly, and bring them cool drinks during hot weather.

Datuk has recently spoken about her excitement over the new gompa, saying how happy she is to be leading a project that will expand Kechara House both physically and spiritually…and we have to say, we can’t agree more with her!
