Taking responsibility

Dear Beng Kooi,

I love watching Rinpoche’s videos on YouTube. I live in Hungary and would like to make Hungarian subtitles to these videos in order to share the Dharma with Hungarian people who don’t speak English. I wanted to contact you and let you know about my plans and find out if you (and Rinpoche) support it.

I am aware of Rinpoche’s blog and read it from time to time. What I like most about his teaching method is that it is straightforward and he is very direct in his approach. He really wakes us up to the fact that we are just lazy, always complaining, etc. Unless we face ourselves honestly and take the steps to let go of our habits and egos we are just running around in circles.

Dharma practice for me really comes down to the simple question of whether I am taking responsibility now and if I am applying the Dharma methods or not. Our egos create ideas and concepts in order to escape the discomforts of reality. At least this is how I see it from where I am at.

Best regards,

Zoltan Kosa-Szantho

  1. I am sure Kechara will need transcribers in many, many languages. Kechara WORLD Peace Center does not sound like a place that can be laid out in a single language. Looks like we’ve got Hungarian covered, now…
