It is meritorious to maintain the fundamental Buddhist precepts, for example a vow not to kill or steal, but when it is taken under the refuge of an attained guru like H.E Eminence Tsem Tulku, the merit is infinitely greater.

Making offerings in preparation for refuge

An integral part of this programme is an introduction to the refuge precepts and their significance in everyday life. The principles of ethics and morality form the basis of this class, strengthened by a deeper understanding of the benefits of refuge and taking the accompanying refuge commitments to heart. All led by senior students under the instruction of H.E Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.
