Let us celebrate a new year and new beginning with everything good…that is, good business, good relationship, good career and a good life! With divine help from Setrap and Dzambala, you will be better equipped to clear all obstacles.

For the third consecutive year, Kechara House is bringing you the opportunity to clear your obstacles at the Grand Setrap and Dzambala Puja (GSDP), and this year it will be better than ever with the offering of 100,000 candle light offerings to collect immense merits for a prosperous new year.

Fun-filled event

There is no age limit to making merits, and GSDP is an event for all ages. With something for everyone, we guarantee you will have fun there! For the young ones, they will be able to choose between a painting competition, do-it-yourself arts and crafts activities, a children’s performance and even animals to pet! For the mummies and daddies, there will be thirteen departments for them to learn about, pendants to check out, Buddha images to gaze at, Dharma books to browse and DVDs to watch, recycling activities to participate in, a flea market to shop at…there is no shortage of fun-filled activities for you and your family to celebrate this New Year!

There will be no shortage of interesting activities...check out Kechara InMotion and get your picture taken against a green screen, and superimposed onto a background of your choice!

For those are not able to attend the event, you can make offerings online, no matter how far away you are…and even then, e-Division will be streaming LIVE throughout the two days, to bring this festival of merits right into your home! That is not all the e-Division have up their sleeves – they have prepared a Lucky Ang Pow on Facebook which you can click on to win great prizes. What kind? A whole smorgasbord, from Setrap pendants decorated with Swarovski crystals to discount vouchers for VajraSecrets.com, to malas and table lamps, to books and DVDs!

Offerings and puja sponsorship

Throughout GSDP, everyone will be able to make offerings of all shapes and sizes – for example, Kechara Saraswati Arts are preparing beautiful flowers for devotees to offer to Setrap and Dzambala.

Visitors will also be able to accumulate merits by offering candles. Like light dispels the darkness, offering candles to enlightened Beings dispels ignorance and opens our minds towards wisdom and clarity. Wisdom opens the door for Lord Setrap and Dzambala to clear our obstacles, and grant us our temporary and ultimate wishes. Starting from the small candles at RM5, devotees will also be able to offer medium-sized candles at RM20 and large candles for RM100.

Datuk May Phng, President of Kechara House, will be there to offer candles just like she did at the 2010 Grand Setrap & Dzambala Puja...will you?

For those who wish to invoke the blessings of the Buddhas through the power of prayer, they can sponsor a Personal Puja (RM168), Corporate Puja (RM888) or become a Gold Puja Sponsor (RM10,000).

Sponsors will bring home more than just merits. Offerings of RM100 and above will be entitled to one free Blessings Card, choosing from a range of eight Buddha images and the BAM syllable that forms the Kechara logo. Corporate Puja sponsors will be entitled to a free Setrap box set worth RM138.

Those who sponsor candles or Personal Pujas also stand the chance to win fabulous prizes. Every offering entitles you to one (1) entry in the Exclusive Gift Event…therefore the higher the amount sponsored, the higher your chances of winning! To claim your prize, you or your representatives must be present with your receipts during the Exclusive Gift Event, held on the evening of 12 and 13 February!

With so many things happening at the Grand Setrap and Dzambala Puja, how can you possibly afford to miss out! For full details, click here to check out the programme of events! Remember – it all starts THIS weekend!
