Sunday Distribution in Petaling Jaya

23 September 2016 - 1:25am Comments Off

I was in the Sunday Petaling Jaya distribution rounds this evening. There were a lot of urban poor in this area that we gave food to. Most of them were actually elderly people. I felt my evening was fulfilled as I was reminded of the first few distribution sessions which I attended in this area way back in 2007 and now we are already in 2016.

Look at how time flies! It has almost been a decade since we started serving the community in this area and I am glad we are still continuing this practice. All this is made possible by our generous sponsors, tireless volunteers and had it not been for H.E. Tsem Rinpoche who founded Kechara Soup Kitchen Society, none of this would have been possible to begin with.
