Helping Uncle Ng

Things are looking up for Ng Fook Look who, until just recently, has been receiving assistance from Kechara Soup Kitchen in Penang. Our members there have been helping him to take positive steps towards taking control of his future.

KSK Penang used to provide basic necessities and food to Uncle Ng so that he can cook for himself. He was also receiving help with the payment of his monthly room rental.

Recently however, Uncle Ng found a job as a dishwasher in the Pudu area of Kuala Lumpur. Without money for the bus fare, Uncle Ng wrote to Patsy Gooi, manager of Kechara Paradise Penang, asking if she could please help him. Glad that Uncle Ng had managed to secure employment, Patsy was happy to, offering him RM250 for both the fare and for food until he receives his wages.

It is always satisfying to help someone where possible, and we wish Uncle Ng every success for his future!
