Helping Chris

Chris became homeless after he quit working in a restaurant. He slept on the streets around Jalan Bukit Bintang for a month and got to know about our Soup Kitchen in Jalan Imbi through some of his friends on the streets.

Chris would spend his time reading in book stores in nearby shopping malls to pass his time. While being registered for our KSK ID Card, Justin Cheah found him to have low self esteem and he has no aim in life.

Chris was recommended to Bryan, another dedicated KSK volunteer who came personally to meet Chris for an interview. Bryan liked what he saw and decided to hire him. Chris agreed and left KSK after the interview with Bryan to start his new job.

He will be provided with accommodation by Bryan and will be assigned the role as a General Worker. Chris has been adapting well into his new working life.  Another of the many homeless off the streets due to KSK.
