Since its inception in 2006, Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) has been growing at a fast pace with only one motivation – to get the homeless off the streets. Providing food serves as a catalyst for us to reach out to the homeless community. With that in mind, KSK extended our operations to Penang a year ago. Following the pace of KSK in KL, our activity center in Penang is now in the midst of renovating their new premises in order to reach out to more people living on the streets.
For that, KSK Penang has organised a fundraising dinner on 17 April 2011 to raise funds to renovate the building as well as for the operation costs.
For tickets to the event or for further information on how you can assist, please contact our Center Director Patsy Gooi a at [email protected] or +6012 4022 992.
