Recipe for success

Feeding the homeless community might give us a temporary feeling of happiness but to see a homeless man or woman back on their feet, with the confidence to live life once again, is the ultimate wish of every volunteer.

Since the establishment of Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) in 2006, the volunteer base has grown tremendously, with every volunteer having only one goal in mind – to help the homeless community off the streets.

The Malay Mail recently featured an article on KSK’s works. It is only with the support of the media, government and the public at large, that KSK can be at where it is today, feeding thousands of homeless people in the various states in Malaysia and Indonesia.

For further information on how you can join us in the fight against homelessness, contact our Project Director Chua Siong Woan ([email protected]; +6010 333 3260). With the expansion of our services, KSK’s financial resources are being stretched tight…we need all the help we can get, whether it’s with job offers, our wish list, or with donations of money, food or your time! Employment opportunities are also welcome, as most of our clients are willing and able to work…they just need YOU to give them a chance.
