On 18 February 2012, Malaysian Chinese daily China Press published an article on Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) President Dato Ruby Khong as a successful business woman and caring mother. In the interview, she stated she was proud to be a housewife or a full time mother, as one needs special skills and knowledge! And being a housewife is actually a job by profession!

Apart from her tales about managing KSK, she also expressed that she always puts in her best effort and goes all the way in whatever she does, including becoming a career, family and charity worker.
