Highlights of the Week

• 23rd April: Caxyn Wong brought her sister, Eva, and nephew Chia Jeng Yang from Singapore to join us in Monday night food distribution. She sponsored 100 packets of Milo drink while E.K. Phuah sponsored 100 packets of biscuits.
• 25th April: One of our food recipient, Pejan Singh, came to collect his food and he looked injured. He told us he was bitten up and robbed a few days ago. He was in pain and we suspected his ribs were broken. One of my friend, Allan Cheah, who happened to drop by drove myself and Pejan to the General Hospital. After checking, the doctor confirmed one of his ribs were broken. The doctor gave him two injections and some medicine. The next day when he came to collect his food, he looked much better. However it will take a long time for his ribs to recover. Allan Cheah is from Lions Club of Gerogetown Mutiara and he has arranged for Pejan Singh to go for free cataract surgery to be sponsored by their Club in June 2012.
