With the help of Kechara’s soup kitchen initiative, Mr. Alex (middle) found a temporary home in Anjung Kasih, Jalan Hang Lekiu. Anjung Kasih is a temporary shelter for homeless in Kuala Lumpur initiated by Yayasan Kebajikan Negara.

Alex called Kechara’s office for accomodation help as he had no where to go after falling out with his family members a few weeks ago. Alex was then referred to the Anjung Kasih office in Jalan Hang Lekiu for registration.

While Alex’s stay in Anjung Kasih is free, the officials in Anjung Kasih will also help Alex to find a job. Alex himself was very pleased that he do not need to sleep on the streets anymore and he hope to be able to find a job very soon.
