On 10 May 2012, President of Kechara’s soup kitchen project, Dato’ Ruby Khong, received the “Most Successful Women 2012″ award alongside nine other illustrious Malaysian women namely Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, Dato’ Ambiga Sreenevasan, Ranjit Kaur and Datin Seri Tiara Jacquelina. The award was in conjunction with Jessica magazine’s first anniversay in Malaysia.

Dato’ Ruby’s passion and dedication in improving the lives of the marginalised community earned her this recognition. Many congratulations to our President. We look forward to the expansion of Kechara and its overseas expansion.
