Lama Tsongkhapa is the emanation of the Buddhas of Wisdom, Compassion and Power (Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara and Vajrapani). He is the founder saint of the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhist and commonly known as the “Second Buddha” in Tibet. He is also the founder of the three major monasteries of Gaden, Sera and Drepung.

His practice is excellent for the healing of depression, restlessness and sickness; for protection from negative energies; and for the enhancement of intelligence and clarity, deep joy and peace. Those who take refuge in him can attain the higher wisdom of achieving true inner peace, tranquillity and ultimate Enlightenment.

  1. why Lama Tsongkhapa and Manjushri mantra is same? It’s a mistake?

    • Hi Deric, there hasn’t been a mistake :) Lama Tsongkhapa is an emanation of three Buddhas, one of which is Manjushri. Some people have trouble remembering Migtsema, or they are intimidated by the length of the mantra so OM AH RA PA TSA NA DHI can be recited instead. It’s equally appropriate since it invokes the wisdom energy that Tsongkhapa possesses as an emanation of Manjushri.
