Paranormal Experiences Occur Everywhere – Part 1!
Friday, 3/2/2012 - 2:12am
I like Steven Wong's stories very much as it shows that spirits and unseen beings are actually not restricted to specific areas like cemeteries or abandoned houses. Instead, they are everywhere...

Remember the Bukit Antarabangsa Landslide in 2008? What about the Highland Towers apartment building which collapsed in 1993? I am sure that you know many died during those two incidences...
Till I See Blood
Wednesday, 1/2/2012 - 9:11pm
After sleepless nights in Bangkok, Angel finally fell asleep, only to find herself struggling for her breath as she was rudely awakened by an unseen stranger. Feeling pressed down by a great weight, Angel continued to struggle for a few minutes...
All About Rosaries
Wednesday, 1/2/2012 - 8:15pm
So anyways, some people asked some questions and I am going to talk about that. Alright. Malas. Malas or rosaries. Malas or rosaries are simply, on a conventional level, counters. They help you to count a particular amount of sacred words, which we talked about last year, mantras. The powerful effect of mantras on our psychology, on our body and on our winds and on our movement, and how incredible, powerful certain mantras can be over a period of time. They really are words of power. That I can attest to myself. And in extreme cases, where we really, really concentrate, you can actually you know…I mean I am not joking, you really can stop rain with mantras. Literally, you can just stop rain. Isn’t that a great way to pick up a girl? (blows in the air) Just think about that. Isn’t that a great way to pick up a guy? Some girls. (snaps fingers) Nah it ain’t gonna work. But my point is this, the real point. In fact, that’s how Sharon was impressed. Her partner stopped the rain, but she checked the weather forecast and, “It’s going to be like that that many hours…” She said, “Let’s [...]

Another person has decided to join Kechara full-time! A wonderful person named Wendy Loh has decided to use her skills, accumulated from her years working within the film industry, to contribute what she can to Kechara Media & Publications… How wonderful. No more excuses please
Wednesday, 1/2/2012 - 11:49am
Dear friends, I received yet another apology from a student. And it has been many times already over the last two years with this person. I care about this person very much, but the situation is nearly the same. So I wrote a reply. I thought I’d share the reply. It might help or be applicable to some of us. I do not profess to know everything or have all the answers, but I do know doing our work well is essential. I am certainly not above it, but I still have to plug on and get things done just like everyone else. This is a prviate email but I will have it here without the name in the spirit of hoping it will benefit others. Forgive me if it sounds offensive, I do not mean it to be. Tsem Rinpoche *********************************** Dear XXXX, It’s very simple, you want ‘in’ or ‘out’? If you want out, you know life and the meaningless drudgery of it you will be going back to. You know your end result like many towards the end of your life will be meaningless death. The very purpose you are in dharma now is [...]

The Marketplace of Ideas. The Statue of Liberty stands as a proclamation of Western, secular freedom and dignity, welcoming all with the words of Emma Lazarus: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.” This principal is what underlies the ideals of the American experiment. American culture is an amalgamation of other cultures—the melting pot—fueled by the freedom of experimentation and the primitive mandate or right to express your true self in an open and creative way. America is an open exchange of ideas, information, and experience—a marketplace of ideas. I am not referring to the “economic” market place. Rather, by free market I am referring to the cultural space that accommodates experimentation and evolution. The free market of ideas is not guided by fame or profit, but by a practical realization of personal truth. Intellectual speculation is transformed into direct experience, whether confused or sane, through an experimental process guided by the intelligence of trial and error. Progressive Buddhism. Buddhism as a whole is entering this chaotic, powerful American free market. The Theravadin, Zen, Korean, Tibetan, Vietnamese, and Pure Land traditions are all planting roots here [...]
Mantras-Holy words of power
Sunday, 29/1/2012 - 7:10pm
Mantras – holy words of power There was a book called Words of Power: Mantras by John Blofeld when I read when I was like, 9 or 10 and boy, I memorized every mantra in there. Oh yes. Very famous Sinologist, he was a very great scholar in China and China arts, and a very great devotee of Guan Yin and Tara. And then when he got into Tibetan Buddhism, that was it. He went crazy with Tara. Crazy. He just like, Tara, Tara, Tara, that’s all he talked about. Everybody’s crazy about Tara. In any case, that is why in the future we have to have a Tara Mystical Treasures. Isn’t that fabulous? Can you imagine a Tara Mystical Treasures? Yes I just can’t wait, I just can’t wait, I just can’t wait… Okay never mind. Now, I’m going to hit on two main reasons, on a profound level, that we do mantras and I’m going to hit on a few general meanings that we do mantras. General meanings…no, general purposes that we do mantras that will help us so you can condense this writing into a short one, you can also make it a long one because [...]
Amazing Giving
Friday, 27/1/2012 - 7:49am
Dear Rinpoche, Greetings! How are you? I hope that you are feeling great, happy and relaxed. ) I have taken the liberty to share with Rinpoche a picture that I saw on FB and I was so touched by it. This is nothing short of total compassion, love and unconditional giving. It puts me to shame, the so-called little charity I do. This lady who shows equal love to all sentient beings must be an emanation of the Great Compassionate Kuan Yin. With folded palms, Wendy ****************************************** Very nice email from Ms Wendy Loh. I really appreciate this sharing. Thank you Wendy.
