Dato’ Ruby Khong was recently featured in a five-page article in Jessica magazine, talking about her involvement in Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) and her inspiration from the Dharma of His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche.
Dato’ Ruby says that through KSK, she is now a changed women who devotes her life doing community work. Her three children were so inspired by their mother’s motivation, that two of Dato’ Ruby’s daughters now work full-time with their mother, doing community work in the same organisation while her son volunteers his time whenever there are community events.
For further information on how you can join us in the fight against homelessness, contact our Project Director Chua Siong Woan (siongwoan.chua@kechara.com; +6010 333 3260). With the expansion of our services, KSK’s financial resources are being stretched tight…we need all the help we can get, whether it’s with job offers, our wish list, or with donations of money, food or your time! Employment opportunities are also welcome, as most of our clients are willing and able to work…they just need YOU to give them a chance.
