Kechara’s Pastor Kok Yek Yee was featured in Issue 481 of Mingguan FengShui. In the interview, Pastor Yek Yee spoke about about how we can honour and repay the kindness of our departed loved ones in a greener way by dedicating merits generated from praying to Three Jewels for their swift and fortunate rebirth.

Pastor Yek Yee also explained that instead of burning paper money and effigies for our departed loved ones, we can also plant or sponsor trees during the spring and summer seasons in the spirit of creating a greener Earth, and dedicate those merits to them. Such tree sponsorship opportunities are available in the Kechara Forest Retreat in Bentong, Pahang.

Offering light and sponsoring prayers (pujas) are other modern but effective ways to dedicate merits to our loved ones to have good rebirth.
