Featured in the January issue of Foodsion, Kechara Oasis (KO) is regarded as the first vegetarian restaurant in Malaysia that serves authentic Tibetan food.
Directed by Irene Lim, KO was opened in Jaya One two years ago on the advice of her Guru, His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche to spread vegetarianism as Rinpoche has always encouraged people not to harm animals.
Most of KO’s delicacies are homemade and created to promote healthy eating, so the food does not contain preservatives. Besides Tibetan delicacies, KO also serves Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and Thai food in their luxurious, fine dining settings.
