Inner Reflection Retreat

28 August 2015 - 10:32pm Comments Off

The Inner Reflection Retreat is a 5-day journey to personal discovery that is both intimate and empowering. The retreat is specially designed in a way that allows participants to apply meditation techniques acquired in the Inner Peace Retreat to accomplish visible and sustainable progress in their spiritual journey.

Through in-depth meditative sessions, participants are coached in reflection exercises that develop understanding of their mind. Participants will observe their thoughts arise with clarity and experience the impact these thoughts have on their emotions and consequent actions. Contemplation on these observations will, in turn, enable participants to identify the source of their life experiences: those that are joyful as well as those of anguish.

Effective contemplation opens the door to a revelation of knowing oneself. This is the stepping-stone to building a constructive relationship with ourselves, our goals, the people we love and society.

Program Benefits

The activities within the Inner Reflection Retreat program are specially designed to facilitate the following benefits within the comfort and convenience of a well-designed retreat space.

1) Health:

Interaction with nature has many physical health benefits. Based on the commonly-accepted healing benefit of Mother Nature, the program includes the following:

  • Fresh Air:
    • Purifies the blood
    • Soothes the nerves
    • Promotes healthy and vibrant skin
  • Green Contact:
Enjoy the rare direct contact with nature’s elements
  • Detoxification:
Meditation is emotional detoxification. Fresh air and balanced meals improve circulation which helps emit toxins from our body

2) A Peaceful & Calm Mind

Physical health must be complemented with emotional wellbeing. In fact, many doctors advocate emotional health as a core ingredient for physical healing. Our programs are designed to provide a platform on which we can exercise this awareness and reap its benefits.

  • Silence therapy helps relieve stress and develop clarity of mind.
  • Nature is a natural anti-depressant that helps heal our emotions.
  • Concentration and mind training techniques improve performance at work and support the creation of a balanced lifestyle.
  • Reflection and contemplation techniques nurture a positive attitude to life.

As the hectic pace of city living intensifies, individuals are afraid to fall behind if they take a moment “off”, and fall victim to the rat race. Thus our professional lives begin infringing on our personal time, during meals, weekends and even holidays.

This program removes the distractions of modern technology to refocus on the present, allowing participants an opportunity to focus on quality time with loved ones and just being present in the moment.
