Here are some of the latest pictures of Kechara Lounge:

Note the neat lighting fixtures and funky color scheme especially of the Tibetan pillows and furniture!

The huge red velvet noticeboard is hung outside with spotlights highlighting it and a 8 auspicious wooden plaque ushers visitors to Kechara Lounge.

A dark colored formica cladded wall with a lamp shape on the wall. Notice the framed photos on the low table. We will be hanging them up tomorrow.

On the right side, there are the lounge area where the funky Tibetan benches with pillows and Tibetan coffee table. It makes for a nice relaxing area with a grand view of the Stupa and the prostrating pilgrims below.

At the throne area, please take note of the two thangkas, one of Je Tsongkhapa, Vajrayogini and Setap Trethang which will be the backdrop of Rinpoche's grand throne, which will be delivered on Sunday. Also there is a standalone Setrap Thangka which will be the backdrop for the 3-feet Lama Tsongkhapa statue when it arrives. Both thangkas are brocaded by Raj Kumar.

On the left side of Kechara Lounge there is a retail area with a container for thangka prints/posters and a glass showcase that will carry statues and other retail items. We will be adding racks for greeting cards and other miscellanous cards on the pillar.

Here are the banners that will be hung outside the lounge!

Last but not least, there is the TV lounge with a flat screen TV and shelves that will carry KMP books. We have obtained additional books on consignment from Pilgrims.
