Su Ming and David have the honour of taking a picture with Khejok Rinpoche

Due to its cool climate, plethora of Buddhist holy sites and its easy accessibility from many South Asian countries, Nepal is very often the country of choice when lamas seek to retreat from the hustle and bustle of India, or wish to expand their Dharma activities in the Himalayan region.

His Eminence Khejok Rinpoche is one such eminent lama and a few days ago, Liaison Chuah Su Ming and Apprentice Liaison David Lai had the honour of an audience with Khejok Rinpoche. Near the Vajrayogini temple at Sangku, it was a blast from the past as Su Ming and David made their way up the hill toward Khejok Rinpoche’s ladrang (which David notes used to have yellow walls!). On behalf of His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche and the Kechara organisation, they made offerings to Khejok Rinpoche who told them that he will soon be leaving Nepal to travel.

May Khejok Rinpoche’s travels be safe, and lamas like him live long to continuously turn the wheel of Dharma for all sentient beings. May all of his works flourish for the preservation and spread of Lama Tsongkhapa’s holy traditions!
