Chia showing Uncle Wong how to make a khata offering

On Saturday, we had the pleasure of helping to invite the Long Life form of Lama Tsongkhapa into the home of Uncle Wong after having gathering at Kechara Saraswati Arts earlier in the morning.

The usual suspects were all in attendance at this joyous event, including Henry, Wan, Albert and Chia from Kechara Paradise, as well as Paul, Yvonne, Becky and Louise from Kechara Discovery.

As we arrived at Uncle Wong’s house, we made offerings of candles at the entrance and prepared a torma for the altar. Kenny led the way with an offering of incense to the King of Dharma whilst Uncle Wong scattered some beautiful flower petals.

After the altar was fully set up, we all offered khatas to Je Rinpoche and recited the Lama Chöpa prayer, with sincere wishes that Uncle Wong may receive the blessings of Lama Tsongkhapa. May he gain many benefits to help him to continue his spiritual practice in the Dharma!
