Weekend Tsa Tsa Fun

The first of three holiday art classes for children, organised by Kechara Saraswati Arts (KSA), was held on Saturday 22nd November 2009 at their premises in SS2. Nine children from Manjushri Kids’ Class signed up for the tsa tsa painting class, conducted by James Long.

Matthew Leong, Jutika Lam, Pavara Lam, Katherine, Rachel Tan, Serene Khoo, Ron Khoo, Natasha Yu and Rachel Tan arrived on time, excited and raring to begin. They were each given a white Tsongkhapa tsa tsa and a range of different colour paints so they could express their creativity…whatever colours they wanted to use, they were free to use, to make that tsa tsa really their own!

As the children concentrated hard on getting their tsa tsas done just the way they wanted, parents who came along either helped their kids with the painting or volunteered at KSA itself, helping to sand statues. An alternative to the usual day spent at the shopping mall, the tsa tsa painting class was an excellent way for parents and children to spend quality time together during the weekend.
