Reciting Medicine Buddha mantras - a good motivation is all-important!

A special treat was in store for the Manjushri Kids Class (MKC) students last Sunday! The teachers organized a special turtle-feeding trip to Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) park for the MKC children and their parents.

Everyone gathered at the park at 4:30pm and the children were all excited when the turtle food was distributed. Before starting the feeding session, MKC teacher Alex Tan led all presents (students and parents included!) in reciting Medicine Buddha mantras to bless the turtle food.

This activity of feeding turtles at TTDI park was inspired by H.E. Tsem Rinpoche. His Eminence starting feeding turtles during one of his walks at the park and has since encouraged his students to do the same. All such activities create the cause for our Kechara animal sanctuary to manifest in the future.
