The Stage is Set!

18 February 2010 - 3:34am 1 Comment

It has been a rather quiet week in Kechara with the onset of the Chinese New Year holidays, but we almost dropped our mandarin oranges when we heard that Legend of the Conch Shell has been nominated for not one, not two but SIX categories in the 8th Annual BOH Cameronian Arts Awards!

Legend of the Conch Shell is Kechara’s first attempt at a theatrical production, and our cast and crew have certainly done us proud!

The Cameronian Awards are the most prestigious arts awards in Malaysia and past winners include the likes of Imee Ooi for Jewel of Tibet, the Musical. This year also marks the last Cameronian Awards Ceremony, making this nomination all the more memorable and auspicious. The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday, 18 April 2010, 8:00pm, at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

Read on to see what categories Legend of the Conch Shell has been nominated for.
