All the partitions and flooring removed from the ground floor of the old Kechara Media & Publications building

While preliminary works have begun on-site at SunwayMas for our exciting new gompa, the Kechara Gompa Committee has been working on the interior design to ensure the best use of space and materials. Thierry Janssens, one of His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche’s students and a Manjushri Class facilitator, is a well-known interior designer. He will be managing the interior design of this project.

The new gompa is a significant milestone in the growth of Kechara. Kechara House Buddhist Association Malaysia is about to turn 10 years old and this gompa will be a celebration of our spiritual guide, H.E. Tsem Rinpoche’s kindness and perseverance in bringing the holy lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa to Malaysia and this region.
