It was cameras to the fore again last Friday as Lee Swee Keong, the lead dancer of the upcoming Tsongkhapa Play took centrestage at Buddha Oasis for a promotional photoshoot. A solemn yet peaceful atmosphere pervaded Buddha Oasis as the beautiful sound of the Migtsema was played from the sound system.

Lee Swee Keong captures the mood and moment perfectly

Deep in concentration, Swee Keong changed gracefully from pose to pose, allowing Kechara InMotion photographer, Lee Kheng San, many opportunities to capture inspiring images that will definitely evoke emotions of all who see them.

Tsongkhapa comes alive!

Production Coordinator, Associate Liaison Kok Yek Yee, her assistant Louise Lee, promoter of the play, Eric Choong and designer Ngeow Su Fei  were also present to give advice and pointers on the various mudras and postures.

Eric teaches “Tsongkhapa” how to recite Migtsema.

Eric Choong also took some time out to explain to Swee Keong the meaning of the Migtsema prayer and how to recite it. Swee Keong will be playing the lead role as Lama Tsongkhapa in the play, which is scheduled to be staged in mid December this year.
