Right Thought Comes With Right Learning

Enhance your Tibetan Buddhist journey with our new series of study courses

At Kechara, we believe that knowledge is the first step towards finding happiness and peace. With knowledge, we develop wisdom; and with wisdom comes the clarity and ability to face any situation in the most positive and beneficial way. Thus, we place great emphasis not only on the attainment of knowledge but more importantly, on gaining the depth of understanding to put it into practice.

Inspired by H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche‘s vision to create an international centre of spiritual learning, we are happy to announce our new educational programme — a series of study courses — commencing October 2017.

Quality Spiritual Education

Our courses are based on the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism which emphasises academic study as the foundation for luminous wisdom, and are taught by experienced practitioners who have received extensive teachings from Rinpoche and other senior scholars. Course topics and curriculums have been carefully curated to equip you with the knowledge and skills to enrich your spiritual journey, whether you’re a new or seasoned practitioner.

Classes are conducted in small groups to ensure that you and every other student receives personalised guidance and spiritual advancement. You can also look forward to hands-on learning experiences amidst the lush greenery and modern amenities of Kechara Forest Retreat, located just five minutes outside Bentong Town, an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur.

Courses are open to the general public. We welcome everyone who wants to discover how authentic Buddhist teachings can help you #BeMore.
